WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
EP will not collect any personally identifiable information about you through the Site unless you provide it to us voluntarily. The information we collect varies, depending on how you use the Site. This Policy applies to all information collected or submitted to the Site. On some pages, you can make requests to become an EP Member, join e-mail announcement lists, register to receive materials from us or from others, or receive other types of information. The types of personal information collected include: name, shipping address, billing address, e-mail address, phone number, credit card information to complete purchases, and other general questions relating to areas of interest on the Site. If you register to become an EP Member, we may ask for your birth date, gender, zip code, social security number and/or federal tax identification number for businesses. Once you register with EP and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
We also collect aggregate, non-personally-identifiable information on users by recording the IP address from the computers of visitors to the Site. An IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer when you surf the Internet. Internet servers, or the computers that provide the web pages to your computer for you to view, automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you use your computer to request to view a page from a server, that server logs your IP address. The Site does not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. Your visit to the Site will be logged; however, you will remain anonymous to us unless you choose to share information with us. We track the number of people that view each page of the Site to better understand which features are most popular and best meet the needs of our visitors.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
During the sign-up process EP will collect personal information from our Members. We may use the information collected from you for the following purposes:
- Process your Independent Partner Registration Agreement Application;
- Process, fulfill and notify you of your product order status;
- Develop Downline Reports or other related business reports;
- Administer Member benefits
- Provide Member services such as planning and facilitating Independent Partner meetings and functions;
- Notify you of EP products and services, sales and promotions, or other matters that may be of interest to you.
- Develop and implement policies, marketing plans and strategies;
- Publish personal information in EP newsletters, promotional materials and company and intra-group communications;
- We may also use your information for market research purposes. EP restricts access to information about its Members to those persons employed by or contracted with EP who have a legitimate business need to know that information in order to provide products or services to its Members. We do not authorize any employee or third parties to make any other use of your information. We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. We will only send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:
We have your consent to do so. We need to share the information in order to provide the product or service you have requested. We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of EP to provide a product or service for you on our behalf and to provide other services, including, but not limited to, payment processing, shipping, order tracking, and customer service. We need to respond to valid legal process. This includes a search warrant, subpoena, or court order, and any other instance when we believe we are required to do so by law.
Downline Reports will be provided to Members for the sole purpose of supporting the Members in their Downline organization. Downline Reports include all data relating to a Member’s Downline, including, but not limited to, name, address, Independent Partner Membership Number, telephone number, e-mail address, fax number, purchases and cancellations. The Downline organization consists of all Members that were personally sponsored and all other persons sponsored by those personally sponsored Members.
The Member agrees that any list of active or deleted EP Members is a confidential trade secret and will not be disclosed or transferred by the Member to any other person or entity. The Member agrees to use any list of active or deleted EP Members only for the purpose of promoting the Company’s products and business opportunity to Members personally sponsored by the Member and shall not use any such list for any other purpose.
You may choose to disable cookies using the tools in your browser; however, by doing so you may not be able to take advantage of all of the functions of the Site.
HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SECURE?
In an endeavor to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical and electronic procedures to safeguard and secure personal information we collect. We cannot guarantee 100% security of any information that you disclose online, and you do so at your own risk.
You are required to register on the excellent-partners.us Site or sign-up as an EP Member by fax or mail a completed copy of the Independent Partner Registration Agreement in order to purchase products. After your registration is complete and reviewed by an EP staff, a password will be emailed or mailed to you. Please remember your password as you will be asked to provide it each time you log-in to the Members Only website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all uses of your password, whether or not authorized by you. You should not disclose your password to any other person. In order to protect the security of your account and personal information, when your visit is complete you should be sure to shut down your browser.
EP incorporates security measures such as encryption and authentication tools to protect your data from unauthorized use. Firewalls are utilized to protect our servers and network from unauthorized users accessing and tampering with files and other information that we store.
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your personal information. Upon logging in to the Site, your computer will begin communicating with our server in secure mode when necessary. You will be able to tell that you are in secure mode because the “https” in the web address on your browser will change to “https”. In addition, depending on the browser you use, you will see either a padlock (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator, AOL) or a solid key (Netscape Navigator) in the lower section of your browser window.
As technologies continue to enhance and expand the collection of information of all kinds, we will apply our technological and marketplace expertise in efforts to ensure that our Members, customers and users receive the kind of privacy protection that will make them confident and secure. We are not responsible, however, for use of personal information that is obtained independently by third parties.
HOW DO I CORRECT MY INFORMATION?
Please assist us in keeping your personal information current by notifying us of any changes to your name, address, title, phone number, e-mail address or credit card information.
REMOVAL FROM LISTS
If you supply us with your postal or e-mail address online you may receive periodic mailings or e-mails from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. Persons who supply us with their phone numbers online may receive phone contact from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive any mailings, e-mails, or phone calls, please contact us.
In the event you elect not to receive any future contacts from the excellent-partners.us Site , we will endeavor to remove your name from all of our contact lists; however, information is sometimes difficult, if not impossible, to remove from all data sources, and we can only promise to endeavor to remove you from any lists we control. We shall have no liability under this Policy for our failure to accomplish this objective.
From time to time, we may use Member information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in this Policy. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the Policy changes to the Site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to “opt out” of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at the Site periodically.
EP does not target children for collection of personal information at any of its Sites. EP recognizes that the privacy of children must be protected. We believe that parents have the right to protect the privacy and security of their children and to prevent the inappropriate use of information about their children.
We will never knowingly collect or solicit information from individuals under the age of 13 without first obtaining verifiable parental consent. If you are under the age of 13 you should not provide information to us via the Site. If we become aware that a person under 13 has provided personally identifiable information to us without verifiable parental consent, we will remove such personally identifiable information from our files.
